What Can I Submit?
DC Mag accepts photos, short stories, poems, or short excerpts from longer works. All submissions should be pre-edited BEFORE submitting and should include the following in the subject line: DC Mag submission by: student name (first and last).
All submissions should come with a short bio in third person of the person submitting (100 words or less) and a title. Submission should be school appropriate without unnecessary profanity or suggestive content.
Photos: should be of a high resolution acceptable for printing and include a one to two sentence caption of the photo.
Poems: should be no longer than two pages in length.
Short Stories: should be no longer than 10 pages in length.
Short Excerpts: should be no longer than 10 pages in length and should include relevant information about the larger piece it comes from.

All submissions should be sent to [email protected]. Students may not receive a response about the submission unless it has been accepted for publication.
